The Land Registration Act 2002 came into force on October 2003, since then new leases of 7 years or more or existing leases sold with 7 years or more unexpired must be registered with Land Registry along with a compliant Lease Plan.

What must be included in a Lease Plan?

An OS location plan at 1:1250, a detail plan at 1:100/200, a north point and a coloured edging to show the extent of the lease area

The plans will be sent to you within 2-5 days of the survey; however a 24 hour service is available for an extra fee.
